Tank Driver-Mechanic
Overview
The 53rd Separate Mechanized Brigade named after Prince Volodymyr Monomakh is a military unit of the mechanized forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
Responsibilities:
- regularly inspecting, diagnosing, and servicing military equipment, including armored vehicles, military trucks, etc.
- safe, effective operation of vehicles in various road and weather conditions, including areas with difficult terrain and combat conditions
- detecting and eliminating minor faults or taking temporary measures to keep movement going during accidents or breakdowns
- compliance with traffic rules and safety instructions to protect oneself, passengers, and other road users
- coordinating with the commander and crew members to perform tasks and respond to changes in the situation
- continuous professional development and improvement of driving skills
Requirements:
- age 18 to 45
- vocational secondary education
- possession of a category B, C driver's license
- readiness to work in the zone of active combat operations
- knowledge of the technical features of military equipment and maintenance skills
- ability to work under high stress
- responsibility, organization, and ability to work in a team
- fitness for military service by state of health and moral-psychological qualities
- willingness to constantly learn and develop
- knowledge of traffic rules and safety procedures
Conditions:
- mobilization until the end of martial law or contract service
- monetary allowance from 20,000 to 120,000 hryvnias depending on place of service
- social benefits in accordance with current legislation: annual leave — 30 calendar days, leave for family circumstances — up to 10 calendar days per year, medical care
