Combat Vehicle/Section Commander
Overview
The 3rd Mechanized Battalion of the 42nd Separate Mechanized Brigade is a motivated, battle-hardened unit. The battalion boldly embraces innovation while preserving military traditions. The unit's fighters are making new history for the Ukrainian army, defending our state with devotion and professionalism. The brigade's main motto, also featured on its sleeve patch, "With Valor and Arms," reflects the principles that guide the battalion's fighters.
Responsibilities:
- carrying out combat missions as part of the unit
- managing and coordinating the squad's actions on the combat vehicle
- operating, maintaining, and repairing the combat vehicle
- managing subordinates, including distributing tasks, training, motivating, and cultivating personnel's military qualities
- participating in training and exercises to improve the military unit's readiness level
- ensuring safety and compliance with safety rules during shooting exercises
Requirements:
- strong moral qualities
- age from 18
- responsibility and discipline
- fitness for military service by state of health and moral-psychological qualities
- knowledge of the basics of military equipment and combat tactics (not mandatory, necessary training is provided)
- understanding of current threats and relevant security measures
- high level of responsibility, organizational skills, and decision-making ability
- combat experience will be an advantage
- successful completion of a tactical medicine course will be an advantage
- readiness to work in the zone of active combat operations
Conditions:
- mobilization until the end of martial law or contract service for a term of 3-5 years
- monetary allowance from 20,000 to 195,000 hryvnias depending on rank, position, and the specifics of combat task performance
- provision of uniforms and personal protective equipment, full meals
- support during the Military Medical Commission stage at the Regional TCC, ensuring enlistment specifically in the relevant unit
