Squad Leader

Overview

The 118th Mechanized Brigade is a mechanized forces formation within the Ground Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. The brigade takes an active part in combat operations in southern Ukraine.

Responsibilities:

• commanding a squad and ensuring its effective performance
• strategic and tactical operations planning
• preparing plans and instructions for subordinates
• maintaining a high level of servicemen's moral and psychological readiness
• monitoring compliance with military norms and standards
• reporting to management

Requirements:

• age from 20
• an NCO position
• fitness for military service by state of health and moral-psychological qualities
• higher or specialized secondary education in a military field
• knowledge of military standards and procedures
• ability to make decisions in stressful situations

Conditions:

• mobilization until the end of martial law or contract service
• monetary allowance from 50,000 to 120,000 hryvnias depending on the performance of combat tasks
• provision of uniforms, personal protective equipment, and full meals
• guidance during the Military Medical Commission stage at the Regional TCC, ensuring enlistment in the relevant unit
• social protection and guaranteed insurance
• leave in accordance with current legislation
• training both in Ukraine and abroad
