ATGM Operator
Overview
The 158th Separate Mechanized Brigade is a newly established formation within the Ground Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. The unit was founded in March 2024 and is actively being formed. The brigade was created to defend the northern borders of our country and is based in Chernihiv region. Experienced officers with combat experience serve in the 158th Brigade. The brigade needs candidates who are willing to train diligently and serve their country.
Responsibilities:
- deploying the system, sighting and observation devices, and keeping them ready for use
- conducting launches from stationary or portable ATGM systems
- maintaining and operating anti-tank guided missile systems
- responsibility for the technical condition of the ATGM system, preparation for combat use, timely detection and elimination of faults
- compliance with safety rules during the maintenance and use of the ATGM
Requirements:
- fitness for military service by state of health and moral-psychological qualities
- desire to study new weapon systems and confidently operate them
- ability to master new approaches, knowledge, abilities, and skills in practice
- military service experience and combat experience will be an advantage
- basic understanding of ballistics, weapon design and specifications, and knowledge of Western and Soviet anti-tank guided missile systems (Stugna, Korsar, Kornet, Fagot, Javelin, TOW-2, NLAW) will be an advantage
Conditions:
- mobilization until the end of martial law or contract service
- monetary allowance in accordance with current legislation
- financial compensation in the event of injury during combat
- guaranteed annual main leave + leave for family circumstances
- provision of a full set of equipment, meals, and other needs
- timely combat payments, processing of Combat Veteran status, and help resolving related issues
