Mechanic-Radio Operator

Overview

The 118th Mechanized Brigade is a mechanized forces formation within the Ground Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. The brigade takes an active part in combat operations in southern Ukraine.

Responsibilities:

• ensuring effective communication within the battalion and with external units
• coordinating communications between the battalion's units and departments
• ensuring the uninterrupted operation of the information system
• identifying and resolving communication and IT infrastructure issues
• support and administration of network equipment

Requirements:

• age from 18
• fitness for military service by state of health and moral-psychological qualities
• knowledge and understanding of modern communications equipment and IT technologies
• ability to identify and resolve communication and network issues
• skills in administering network equipment

Conditions:

• mobilization until the end of martial law or contract service
• monetary allowance from 50,000 to 120,000 hryvnias depending on the performance of combat tasks
• provision of uniforms, personal protective equipment, and full meals
• guidance during the Military Medical Commission stage at the Regional TCC, ensuring enlistment in the relevant unit
• social protection and guaranteed insurance
• leave in accordance with current legislation
• training both in Ukraine and abroad
