UAV Maintenance Engineer

Overview

The 158th Separate Mechanized Brigade is a newly established formation within the Ground Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. The unit was founded in March 2024 and is actively being formed. The brigade was created to defend the northern borders of our country and is based in Chernihiv region. Experienced officers with combat experience serve in the 158th Brigade. The brigade needs candidates who are willing to train diligently and serve their country.

Responsibilities:

• maintaining UAVs and manufacturing components
• working with drone crews
• inspecting UAVs and ensuring compliance with safety rules
• caring for equipment, keeping it in proper condition, and performing minor repairs
• reworking standard-issue ammunition for drops and kamikaze drones
• making improvised explosive devices from explosives and metal-plastic structures
• installing explosives, checking, installing, and improving detonation initiation systems

Requirements:

• age from 18
• initiative and creative thinking
• knowledge of basic safety principles when working with drones
• readiness to learn new technologies and improve skills
• responsible approach to completing tasks and ability to work in a team
• complete prohibition on the consumption of alcohol and drugs
• experience working with UAVs, as a sapper, or as an engineer will be an advantage
• completion of sapper or UAV courses will be an advantage
• desire to constantly grow, master new technologies, and improve one's knowledge will be an advantage

Conditions:

• mobilization until the end of martial law or contract service
• service based on respect, professionalism, and continuous training
• monetary allowance from 20,000 to 120,000 hryvnias depending on tasks and place of service
• guaranteed annual main leave and leave for family circumstances
