Overview

The 158th Separate Mechanized Brigade is a newly established formation within the Ground Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. The unit was founded in March 2024 and is actively being formed. The brigade was created to defend the northern borders of our country and is based in Chernihiv region. Experienced officers with combat experience serve in the 158th Brigade. The brigade needs candidates who are willing to train diligently and serve their country.

Responsibilities:

• observing the enemy
• orientation on terrain
• keeping weapons in constant combat readiness
• destroying the most important targets by fire on the commander's order or independently (officers, observers, weapon crews, etc.)
• using the protective and camouflage properties of the terrain to occupy an advantageous firing position

Requirements:

• readiness to work directly in the combat zone
• fitness for military service by state of health and moral-psychological qualities
• knowledge and understanding of the basics of precision shooting
• ability to act in extreme conditions will be an advantage

Conditions:

• mobilization until the end of martial law or contract service
• monetary allowance from 20,000 to 120,000 hryvnias depending on place of service
• social benefits in accordance with current legislation: annual leave (30 calendar days), leave for family circumstances (up to 10 days per year), medical care
• social and legal guarantees for servicemen and their families
• provision of all necessary supplies and equipment, full meals
• annual monetary wellness assistance
• assistance in resolving social and household issues
