Topographer

Overview

The 158th Separate Mechanized Brigade is a newly established formation within the Ground Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. The unit was founded in March 2024 and is actively being formed. The brigade was created to defend the northern borders of our country and is based in Chernihiv region. Experienced officers with combat experience serve in the 158th Brigade. The brigade needs candidates who are willing to train diligently and serve their country.

Responsibilities:

• conducting topographic and geodetic surveys of the terrain
• preparing and updating topographic maps and plans
• performing measurements and processing geodetic data
• providing the unit with accurate cartographic materials
• using modern geodetic equipment and software
• cooperating with other units to coordinate topographic-geodetic work
• participating in training and exercises to improve qualifications

Requirements:

• higher education in geodesy, cartography, or related disciplines
• experience as a topographer or in a similar position will be an advantage
• ability to work with geodetic equipment and software
• responsibility, discipline, analytical abilities, and ability to work in a team
• physical endurance and readiness to work in field conditions
