Overview

The 158th Separate Mechanized Brigade is a newly established formation within the Ground Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. The unit was founded in March 2024 and is actively being formed. The brigade was created to defend the northern borders of our country and is based in Chernihiv region. Experienced officers with combat experience serve in the 158th Brigade. The brigade needs candidates who are willing to train diligently and serve their country.

Responsibilities:

• working with explosive objects
• mining and demining territories
• demolishing objects or infrastructure to block enemy movement
• eliminating explosive objects
• participating in the unit's combat missions (defense, offense, stabilization measures)
• installing non-explosive engineering obstacles

Requirements:

• age from 18
• readiness to work in the zone of active combat operations
• physical endurance and readiness for active physical work
• moral and psychological resilience
• prohibition on the use of alcohol and narcotic substances

Conditions:

• mobilization until the end of martial law or contract service
• service based on respect and professionalism, support for personnel, and continuous training within the unit
• monetary allowance from 21,000 to 120,000 hryvnias depending on tasks and place of service
• full provision of equipment, meals, and protective gear
• financial compensation in the event of injury while performing combat tasks
• guaranteed annual main leave and additional leave for family circumstances
• social guarantees and privileges in accordance with current legislation
