BM-21 "Grad" Commander

Overview

The 24th Separate Mechanized Brigade is a mechanized forces formation within the Ground Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. Since the start of the russian aggression in 2014, units of the brigade have been engaged in the war in the East on many fronts. During the russian invasion of Ukraine in 2022, the brigade took part in the defense of Popasna.

Responsibilities:

  • commanding the crew and being responsible for crew safety
  • directing the operation of the combat vehicle, including communication systems and other technical components
  • responding to and resolving technical malfunctions in combat
  • training and instructing the crew

Requirements:

  • military service experience and skills firing large-caliber weapons will come in handy
  • knowledge of procedures and safety rules when working with firearms
  • ability to work under pressure and make quick decisions
  • skill and experience managing a small team
  • leadership qualities

Conditions:

  • mobilization until the end of martial law or contract service
  • service in the combat area on the eastern axis, but not on the line of contact
  • free accommodation and meals are provided
  • monetary allowance from 50,000 to 120,000 hryvnias
  • guaranteed annual leave (15+15) + additional 10-day leave for family circumstances
  • free treatment and financial compensation for injuries sustained in combat
  • service includes obtaining Combat Veteran status
