UAS/UAV Operator

Overview

The Unmanned Systems Battalion of the 67th Separate Mechanized Brigade is part of the Ground Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. The unit needs specialists in various fields who will apply their skills and abilities, constantly test and implement new tools for the best possible completion of tasks. You have a unique opportunity to gather like-minded people and effectively carry out assigned tasks. Experienced UAV operators are needed for short-range, medium-range, and long-range systems.

Responsibilities:

• carrying out combat missions as part of the unit
• conducting aerial reconnaissance of enemy positions
• carrying out tasks according to the chosen type of aircraft depending on preference and available skills: multirotors, strike or FPV drones
• destroying the enemy using drop munitions, strike drones, and FPVs
• performing calculations and aiming weapons at the target
• ensuring accuracy of actions, spatial orientation, and determining distance to the target
• monitoring firing results and performing the relevant calculations

Requirements:

• desire to learn and grow in one's specialty
• secondary education is desirable
• readiness to work in the zone of active combat operations
• knowledge of the basics of cartography will be an advantage
• motivation to serve the Ukrainian people and defend the sovereignty of the state
• no alcohol or drug dependency
• age from 18
• fitness for military service by state of health and moral-psychological qualities
• basic level of technology understanding and interest in drone operating principles
• ability to work with mobile applications and electronic devices
• shooting skills will be an advantage
• numeracy, observation skills, and quick reaction will be an advantage
• military service experience will be an advantage

Conditions:

• mobilization until the end of martial law or contract service
• possibility of transferring current servicemen
• service in the active combat zone
• provision of uniforms, personal protective equipment, and full meals
• the prospect of career growth and the development of leadership skills
• annual main leave plus additional leave for family circumstances
• monetary allowance of up to 125,000 hryvnias depending on task performance and combat orders
• free treatment and financial compensation for injury or wounds sustained in combat
