Diesel Mechanic

Overview

The 143rd Separate Mechanized Brigade is a formation of the Ground Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine based in Chernihiv region. The brigade is part of the "North" Operational Command. The unit was formed around a team with combat experience in various sectors of the front. The unit is looking for a diesel mechanic who understands the power behind this motto: "The strength of the engine is the might of the army. Always running, always ready for battle!".

Responsibilities:

• caring for, maintaining, and repairing vehicles
• maintaining technical documentation
• maintaining and repairing, diagnosing malfunctions, and solving technical problems in cooperation with other specialists
• detecting and eliminating faults, performing minor repairs on site
• evacuation of damaged equipment

Requirements:

• ability to work in a team
• knowledge of detection methods, main causes, and troubleshooting of faults that arose during vehicle operation
• experience in car repair
• readiness to work in the zone of active combat operations
• fitness for military service
• readiness to carry out assigned tasks in the combat operations zone

Conditions:

• mobilization until the end of martial law or contract service
• possibility of transferring current servicemen with the direct commander's consent
• provision of uniforms and personal protective equipment, full meals
• monetary allowance from 20,000 to 120,000 hryvnias depending on the assigned task and place of service
