Psychological Support Group Officer
Overview
The 419th Separate Rifle Battalion of the 42nd Separate Mechanized Brigade is a motivated, battle-hardened unit that adheres to the principles of innovation and care for its fighters. The battalion's command pays special attention to preserving the life and health of its personnel, provides training, supplies everything needed to carry out combat missions, and creates all the conditions for successful service. The brigade's main motto — "With Valor and Arms" — inspires the battalion's fighters toward new victories in defending our state.
Responsibilities:
- conducting psychological screening and assessment of newly arrived personnel
- providing primary psychological aid in cases of combat stress or psychological trauma
- evaluating and promptly responding to changes in personnel's psychological readiness and resilience
- strengthening military discipline
- assisting commanders in resolving conflicts and disputes within unit teams
- developing recommendations to improve the psychological climate in units
- maintaining accounting, documentation, and reports on the psycho-emotional health of personnel
Requirements:
- officer's rank
- higher education in "Psychology" or "Sociology"
- emotional resilience and ability to work with military personnel in stressful situations
- communication skills and ability to cooperate with different people
- a high level of motivation
- ability to listen to and understand people
- military service experience or combat experience will be an advantage
Conditions:
- mobilization until the end of martial law or contract service for a term of 3-5 years
- monetary allowance from 20,000 hryvnias depending on military rank, length of service, and position held + additional monetary allowance of 30,000 to 100,000 hryvnias for the duration of combat tasks
