Head of Reconnaissance

Overview

The 419th Separate Rifle Battalion of the 42nd Separate Mechanized Brigade is a motivated, battle-hardened unit that adheres to the principles of innovation and care for its fighters. The battalion's command pays special attention to preserving the life and health of its personnel, provides training, supplies everything needed to carry out combat missions, and creates all the conditions for successful service. The brigade's main motto — "With Valor and Arms" — inspires the battalion's fighters toward new victories in defending our state.

Responsibilities:

• collecting and analyzing information on the enemy in the field, assessing potential threats
• preparing and setting up reconnaissance posts
• assessing the operational situation, developing strategic and tactical plans for reconnaissance missions
• commanding a reconnaissance group, training and preparing personnel to ensure safety and effectiveness
• ensuring communication through various communication channels
• cooperating at various levels of management and interacting with the team
• working with documentation and reporting

Requirements:

• military service experience (service in reconnaissance units will be a significant advantage)
• higher education (technical education will be an advantage)
• knowledge of reconnaissance methods and techniques
• willingness to learn and implement new equipment and modern technologies
• high level of responsibility and organizational skills
• officer's rank

Conditions:

• mobilization until the end of martial law or contract service for a term of 3-5 years
• monetary allowance from 20,000 hryvnias depending on military rank, length of service, and position held + additional monetary allowance of 30,000 to 100,000 hryvnias for the duration of combat tasks
