Combat Medic

Overview

The 419th Separate Rifle Battalion of the 42nd Separate Mechanized Brigade is a motivated, battle-hardened unit that adheres to the principles of innovation and care for its fighters. The battalion's command pays special attention to preserving the life and health of its personnel, provides training, supplies everything needed to carry out combat missions, and creates all the conditions for successful service. The brigade's main motto — "With Valor and Arms" — inspires the battalion's fighters toward new victories in defending our state. This vacancy is for service in the UAV strike systems platoon.

Responsibilities:

• providing medical care at the platoon level
• participating in conducting evacuation
• maintaining medical records for sick and wounded servicemen
• maintaining accounting of the medical station's property
• implementing measures to prevent the occurrence and spread of illness in the unit
• monitoring the availability of medical supplies, checking and stocking personnel's first aid kits
• monitoring servicemen's health and physical condition, providing medical care to personnel as needed

Requirements:

• ability to provide emergency medical care: stopping bleeding, applying bandages, immobilizing injured body parts, resuscitation, and first aid
• skills in providing aid under the MARCH protocol
• experience in medical or military work

Conditions:

• mobilization until the end of martial law or contract service for a term of 3-5 years
• monetary allowance from 20,000 hryvnias depending on military rank, length of service, and position held + additional monetary allowance of 30,000 to 100,000 hryvnias for the duration of combat tasks
