Senior Rifleman

Overview

The 419th Separate Rifle Battalion of the 42nd Separate Mechanized Brigade is a motivated, battle-hardened unit that adheres to the principles of innovation and care for its fighters. The battalion's command pays special attention to preserving the life and health of its personnel, provides training, supplies everything needed to carry out combat missions, and creates all the conditions for successful service. The brigade's main motto — "With Valor and Arms" — inspires the battalion's fighters toward new victories in defending our state.

Responsibilities:

• assisting the squad leader in training and educating riflemen
• ensuring the accurate and timely completion of assigned tasks, keeping weapons and equipment in working order
• destroying the enemy by all available means, ability to maneuver on the battlefield and choose firing positions
• providing medical care to comrades
• knowledge of the platoon's and squad's combat missions and one's own duties
• knowledge of one's unit's equipment and weapons
• skillfully using tactical techniques in close combat, choosing the optimal firing position, aiming, and accurately opening fire to destroy the enemy

Requirements:

• strong moral qualities
• age from 25
• good physical shape and readiness for intense physical work
• readiness to work in the zone of active combat operations
• motivation to destroy the enemy and defend Ukraine
• having combat experience will be an advantage

Conditions:

• mobilization until the end of martial law or contract service for a term of 3-5 years
• monetary allowance from 20,000 hryvnias depending on military rank, length of service, and position held + additional monetary allowance of 30,000 to 100,000 hryvnias for the duration of combat tasks
