Overview

The 158th Separate Mechanized Brigade is a newly established formation within the Ground Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. The unit was founded in March 2024 and is actively being formed. The brigade was created to defend the northern borders of our country and is based in Chernihiv region. Experienced officers with combat experience serve in the 158th Brigade. The brigade needs candidates who are willing to train diligently and serve their country.

Responsibilities:

• preparing food for servicemen in compliance with safety and quality standards
• planning menus taking into account field conditions and available food supplies
• ensuring a nutritious and balanced diet according to the military unit's needs
• maintaining cleanliness in the kitchen and complying with sanitary and hygienic standards
• storing food products and monitoring their freshness and quality
• working with field kitchen equipment and ensuring its serviceability
• coordinating with command to ensure timely receipt of food supplies and other provisions

Requirements:

• experience working as a cook or relevant vocational education (cook, pastry chef)
• knowledge of the basics of culinary arts, food preparation standards, and basic food processing techniques
• knowledge of sanitary and hygienic standards and food storage skills
• physical endurance and ability to work under increased strain
• responsibility, organization, and ability to make quick decisions
• experience working under limited resource conditions (field kitchens, campaign conditions) will be an advantage

Conditions:

• mobilization until the end of martial law or contract service
• service in the military unit or in field conditions
• provision of all necessary kitchen equipment and food supplies
• monetary allowance in accordance with current legislation
• the opportunity for professional development within a military unit
