Overview

The 419th Separate Rifle Battalion of the 42nd Separate Mechanized Brigade is a motivated, battle-hardened unit that adheres to the principles of innovation and care for its fighters. The battalion's command pays special attention to preserving the life and health of its personnel, provides training, supplies everything needed to carry out combat missions, and creates all the conditions for successful service. The brigade's main motto — "With Valor and Arms" — inspires the battalion's fighters toward new victories in defending our state.

Responsibilities:

• preparing the machine gun for firing, setting up sighting equipment, and adjusting firing parameters
• keeping the machine gun in serviceable condition
• readiness to provide medical aid to comrades
• support and maintenance of firearms and special equipment
• training gunners, readiness to assume command

Requirements:

• strong moral qualities
• age from 25
• good physical shape and readiness for intense physical work
• readiness to work in the zone of active combat operations
• motivation to destroy the enemy and defend Ukraine
• having combat experience will be an advantage
• ability to remain calm and focused

Conditions:

• mobilization until the end of martial law or contract service for a term of 3-5 years
• monetary allowance from 20,000 hryvnias depending on military rank, length of service, and position held + additional monetary allowance of 30,000 to 100,000 hryvnias for the duration of combat tasks

• timely combat payments, processing of Combat Veteran status, and help resolving other issues
• annual paid leave of 30 days
