Senior Rifleman-Operator
Overview
The 49th Separate Assault Battalion "Karpatska Sich" ("Carpathian Sich") named after Oleh Kutsyn is a Ukrainian volunteer unit within the Ground Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, formed in the first days of the full-scale invasion. Its founder was the first commander of the battalion "Karpatska Sich," Oleh Kutsyn, and the unit's core is made up of Sich veterans dating back to 2014. The battalion's core values are responsibility and a focus on Ukrainian victory. The most important thing for the unit is the motivation of its personnel and readiness for continuous improvement.
After the de-occupation of the Kyiv region, the battalion took part in fighting for Makiivka, as well as in the Kharkiv, Avdiivka, and Kupiansk sectors. The unit also took part in the liberation of Izium, Lyman, Terny, and in assault operations in Niu-York.
Responsibilities:
- carrying out combat missions as part of the unit (defense, offense, construction of engineering fortifications, evacuation) during hostilities
- continuous maintenance of weapons, equipment, and ammunition in combat readiness
- knowledge of the characteristics and structure of the components of assigned weapons and military property
- exemplary, precise, and effective execution of combat missions
- compliance with military regulations, execution of orders from commanders and senior superiors
Requirements:
- desire to thoroughly study and master one's assigned weapon
- ability to continuously improve one's knowledge, abilities, and skills
- responsibility and discipline, ability to work in a team
- stress resilience and ability to quickly make decisions in crisis situations
- fitness for military service by state of health
