Senior Scout

Overview

The 419th Separate Rifle Battalion of the 42nd Separate Mechanized Brigade is a motivated, battle-hardened unit that adheres to the principles of innovation and care for its fighters. The battalion's command pays special attention to preserving the life and health of its personnel, provides training, supplies everything needed to carry out combat missions, and creates all the conditions for successful service. The brigade's main motto — "With Valor and Arms" — inspires the battalion's fighters toward new victories in defending our state.

Responsibilities:

• determining reconnaissance objectives, developing routes, and selecting methods and means of gathering information
• carrying out tasks of gathering intelligence on the enemy, its forces and assets
• analyzing received information to assess its significance and possible threats
• cooperating with other military units to exchange information and coordinate actions
• training scouts in reconnaissance skills, equipment use, and tactical techniques
• carrying out other combat missions as part of the unit

Requirements:

• strong moral qualities
• age from 25
• good physical shape and readiness for intense work
• readiness to work in the zone of active combat operations
• motivation to defend Ukraine and support fellow soldiers
• military service experience will be an advantage

Conditions:

• mobilization until the end of martial law or contract service for a term of 3-5 years
• monetary allowance from 20,000 hryvnias depending on military rank, length of service, and position held + additional monetary allowance of 30,000 to 100,000 hryvnias for the duration of combat tasks
