Overview

The 5th Mechanized Company of the 2nd Mechanized Battalion of the 42nd Separate Mechanized Brigade of the Ground Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine has been resisting the russian federation's military aggression since 2023 and carries out missions to defend Ukraine and protect its population and state interests. The unit's servicemen have been involved in missions in the Donetsk, Luhansk, and Kharkiv regions and continue to successfully carry out their assigned tasks.

Responsibilities:

• carrying out combat missions assigned to the unit
• organizing, ensuring, and monitoring the unit's preparation for missions
• planning, organizing, and conducting combat training activities and improving the unit's personnel skills
• ensuring the unit's effective conduct of combat operations
• keeping personnel and issued weapons combat-ready
• maintaining and monitoring proper discipline in the unit
• compliance with safety requirements when handling weapons and ammunition

Requirements:

• age from 25
• readiness to perform tasks in the zone of active combat operations
• managerial and organizational abilities
• stress resilience and endurance
• a high level of personal discipline and moral and professional qualities
• compliance with the requirements of the statutes of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and the laws of Ukraine
• fitness for military service by state of health
• having basic combined-arms training and/or military service experience in the position, and combat experience, will be an advantage

Conditions:

• mobilization until the end of martial law or contract service
• monetary allowance from 20,000 to 190,000 hryvnias depending on the specifics of tasks performed
• provision of necessary training
• provision of resources needed to carry out assigned tasks
• provision of gear and proper meals
• compliance with social guarantees
