Senior Sapper

Overview

The 419th Separate Rifle Battalion of the 42nd Separate Mechanized Brigade is a motivated, battle-hardened unit that adheres to the principles of innovation and care for its fighters. The battalion's command pays special attention to preserving the life and health of its personnel, provides training, supplies everything needed to carry out combat missions, and creates all the conditions for successful service. The brigade's main motto — "With Valor and Arms" — inspires the battalion's fighters toward new victories in defending our state.

Responsibilities:

• assisting the engineer-sapper squad leader in training and educating subordinates
• knowledge of the squad's combat missions and one's own duties
• knowledge of one's unit's equipment and weapons
• conducting defense and offense with maximum effectiveness, destroying the enemy by all available means
• keeping weapons and equipment combat-ready, arming ammunition
• coordinating actions as part of a combat group, relaying information to fellow soldiers

Requirements:

• strong moral qualities
• age from 25
• good physical shape and readiness for intense work
• motivation to defend Ukraine and support fellow soldiers
• experience in engineering and sapper work or military service will be an advantage

Conditions:

• mobilization until the end of martial law or contract service for a term of 3-5 years
• monetary allowance from 20,000 hryvnias depending on military rank, length of service, and position held + additional monetary allowance of 30,000 to 100,000 hryvnias for the duration of combat tasks
