Machine Gunner

Overview

The 5th Separate Heavy Mechanized Brigade (formerly the 5th Separate Tank Brigade) is stationed in the Lviv region and is part of the "Zahid" ("West") Operational Command of the Ground Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. The brigade took part in fighting in the Zaporizhzhia and Donetsk regions and is currently carrying out missions in the Pokrovsk sector.

Responsibilities:

• providing fire support during combat operations
• operating and maintaining machine gun weapons
• continuous maintenance of weapons, equipment, and ammunition in combat readiness
• carrying out combat missions as part of the unit

Requirements:

• Ukrainian citizenship
• age 18 to 50
• good physical shape and endurance
• no contraindications for military service
• no alcohol or drug dependency and no criminal record

Conditions:

• mobilization until the end of martial law or contract service
• monetary allowance from 20,100 to 130,000 hryvnias depending on the assigned task and place of service
• Permanent duty station in Lviv Oblast
