Resident Physician
Overview
The 54th Separate Mechanized Brigade named after Hetman Ivan Mazepa is a military formation of the mechanized forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. The brigade was formed in 2014 and took part in the war in eastern Ukraine as part of the ATO/JFO forces. The vacancy involves service in the medical company. This is the hospital-level tier of medical care. The medical company has all the necessary equipment to provide professional care, along with a team of like-minded and motivated specialists in their field.
Responsibilities:
- outpatient care and consultative assistance for servicemen
- monitoring and maintaining medical document flow, including preparing referrals and medical records
- providing medical care to patients with general illnesses in a medical company (inpatient) setting
- providing first aid to the wounded
- conducting outpatient examinations of sick servicemen and those with wounds or combat injuries
- shift work at the battalion/brigade stabilization point in the combat zone as needed
- compliance with the requirements of the regulations and discipline
Requirements:
- higher medical education
- experience working as a general practitioner
- experience in one's field
- a high level of motivation, ability and desire to learn
- an officer's rank will be an advantage
Conditions:
- mobilization until the end of martial law or contract service
- monetary allowance from 55,000 to 120,000 hryvnias depending on tasks performed and place of service
- possibility of transferring current servicemen
- guidance during the Regional TCC and Military Medical Commission stage, ensuring enlistment in the medical company of the 54th Separate Mechanized Brigade
- provision of gear and medical supplies
- social protection and free treatment at military healthcare facilities
