Overview

The 54th Separate Mechanized Brigade named after Hetman Ivan Mazepa is a military formation of the mechanized forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. The brigade was formed in 2014 and took part in the war in eastern Ukraine as part of the ATO/JFO forces. The vacancy involves service in the medical company. This is the hospital-level tier of medical care. The medical company has all the necessary equipment to provide professional care, along with a team of like-minded and motivated specialists in their field.

Responsibilities:

• working at the hospital link, caring for patients, carrying out doctors' orders
• carrying out procedures prescribed by the doctor that are permitted for mid-level medical staff
• assisting with procedures that only a doctor is authorized to perform
• drawing blood from a vein for testing
• ensuring compliance with aseptic and antiseptic rules in the procedure room
• sterilizing instruments and materials
• preparing requests for and obtaining instruments, equipment, medications, and dressing materials
• keeping the wounded in a stable condition before transport to a medical facility

Requirements:

• age from 18
• vocational secondary education in "Nursing"
• at least 1 year of experience in one's field at a hospital
• knowledge and ability to use specialized medical equipment and medications
• fitness for military service by state of health and moral-psychological qualities

Conditions:

• mobilization until the end of martial law or contract service
• monetary allowance from 55,000 to 120,000 hryvnias depending on tasks performed and place of service
• possibility of transferring current servicemen
• guidance during the Regional TCC and Military Medical Commission stage, ensuring enlistment in the medical company of the 54th Separate Mechanized Brigade
• provision of gear and medical supplies
• social protection and free treatment at military healthcare facilities
