Combat Medic

Overview

The 2nd Mechanized Battalion K-2, whose combat footage you may have seen many times on social media, is part of the 54th Separate Mechanized Brigade named after Hetman Ivan Mazepa. In December 2024, Major Vladyslav Puzikov became the unit's commander. With the start of the full-scale invasion, K-2 fighters fought in Marinka, Krasnohorivka, and the Siversk-Soledar sector.

Responsibilities:

• providing pre-medical aid on the battlefield and evacuating the wounded
• organizing and conducting medical examinations and check-ups
• planning and conducting tactical medicine classes
• monitoring the condition of medical equipment and medications in the unit

Requirements:

• knowledge of the basics of tactical medicine and emergency care
• completion of prior training courses, secondary medical education will be an advantage
• fitness for military service by state of health and moral qualities
• military service experience will be an advantage
• readiness to work in the zone of active combat operations

Conditions:

• mobilization until the end of martial law or contract service
• transfer of current servicemen is NOT available
• basic and specialized training as needed
• monetary allowance in accordance with the standards of the Armed Forces of Ukraine
• provision of protective equipment and military property
