EW/ER Specialist

Overview

The 158th Separate Mechanized Brigade is a newly established formation within the Ground Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. The unit was founded in March 2024 and is actively being formed. The brigade was created to defend the northern borders of our country and is based in Chernihiv region. Experienced officers with combat experience serve in the 158th Brigade. The brigade needs candidates who are willing to train diligently and serve their country.

Responsibilities:

• monitoring the radio-frequency spectrum, detecting and analyzing signals
• analyzing, processing, and systematizing data
• assisting in configuring, deploying, and launching EW systems
• coordinating with neighboring units/crews
• developing new methods, approaches, and strategies for EW/ELINT
• standing duty on medium-range EW/ELINT systems

Requirements:

• knowledge and skills in electrical and circuit engineering, communication theory, and radio waves
• knowledge and understanding of LoRa, CRSF, TBS, and ELRS protocols
• experience programming single-board computers and modules (STM32, Raspberry Pi)
• experience with data transmission, skills working with medium- and high-power cable-feeder systems

Conditions:

• mobilization until the end of martial law or contract service
• monetary allowance from 20,000 to 120,000 hryvnias depending on the assigned task and place of service
