Overview

The 24th Mechanized Brigade is a mechanized forces formation within the Ground Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. Since the start of the russian aggression in 2014, units of the brigade have been engaged in the war in the east on many fronts. During the russian invasion of Ukraine in 2022, the brigade took part in the defense of Popasna. This vacancy is for the position of UAV operator. Our unit's pilots destroy the occupiers and burn millions of dollars' worth of enemy equipment around the clock. But the pilots need reliable, well-maintained drones. That's why we are looking for experienced technicians and engineers who will repair and prepare UAVs for operation. You will not be directly on the line of contact, but there will be plenty of work. There are areas where you can level up your skills (for example, 3D printing). It won't be easy, but victory is worth it.

Responsibilities:

• repair and preparation of multirotor and fixed-wing strike UAVs for operation
• repair and preparation of FPV kamikaze strike drones for operation

Requirements:

• experience repairing electrical equipment, radio equipment, and microchips
• soldering skills
• ability to work with mobile applications and electronic devices
• an engineering education will be an advantage
• experience working with 3D printers will be an advantage

Conditions:

• mobilization until the end of martial law or contract service
• possibility of transferring current servicemen with the direct commander's consent
• vacancy for candidates who, per the medical board's findings, are fit for service in support units, TCC and SP, military educational institutions, training centers, etc.
• training as an unmanned aircraft systems operator at Armed Forces of Ukraine training centers
• monetary allowance from 50,000 to 120,000 hryvnias depending on the assigned task and place of service
