Flamethrower Operator
Overview
The 30th Separate Mechanized Brigade named after Prince Kostiantyn Ostrozky is a mechanized forces formation within the Ground Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine that began its difficult path back in 2014. The brigade took part in combat during the Anti-Terrorist Operation/Joint Forces Operation in the battles for Debaltseve, Marynivka, and Horlivka. During the full-scale invasion, the unit met the enemy in the Donetsk sector, later fought in the Kharkiv sector, and now stands guard over free Ukraine in the Donetsk sector. The brigade's command has extensive experience fighting the enemy; the unit carries out missions of any complexity, and its commanders are experienced and motivated.
Responsibilities:
- maintaining and repairing flamethrower equipment
- participating in combat training and operations
- carrying out tasks in cooperation with other members of the military unit
- participating in reconnaissance as needed
- coordinating fire strikes with other units
Requirements:
- age from 18
- complete general secondary education
- no criminal record
- fitness for service by state of health and moral qualities
- good physical fitness will be an advantage
- motivation to serve the Ukrainian people and defend the sovereignty of the state
- no alcohol or drug dependency
Conditions:
- mobilization until the end of martial law or contract service
- possibility of transferring current servicemen with the direct commander's consent
- monetary allowance from 20,100 + additional reward for participation in combat operations from 100,000 to 170,000 hryvnias
- one-time monetary assistance upon signing a contract, from 24,224 to 30,280 hryvnias
- provision of gear and a personal protection kit
- annual main leave of 30 calendar days (2 parts of 15 days each)
