Overview

The 1st Mechanized Battalion is part of the 42nd Separate Mechanized Brigade of the Ground Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. The unit has a worthy history of defending the state on all fronts. The battalion wages a daily struggle for the independence of our state. Its service members have held the defense in the Kharkiv, Donetsk, and Luhansk regions.

Responsibilities:

• carrying out combat missions using a mortar
• ensuring interaction with other units while carrying out combat missions
• ensuring the technical serviceability of aiming devices (sights) and the mortar
• support and maintenance of firearms and special equipment
• compliance with safety requirements when handling weapons

Requirements:

• age from 18
• readiness to perform tasks in the combat operations area
• fitness for military service by state of health and moral-psychological qualities
• high level of responsibility and discipline
• experience working with a mortar and knowledge of specialized software will be an advantage
• endurance and stress resistance
• military service experience will be an advantage

Conditions:

• mobilization until the end of martial law or contract service for a term of 3-5 years
• monetary allowance from 20,000 to 190,000 hryvnias depending on rank, position, and the specifics of combat task performance
