Head of Current Combat Operations Department
Overview
The Separate Presidential Brigade named after Hetman Bohdan Khmelnytskyi is a military unit within the Ground Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. The unit has defended Kyiv since the first days and steadfastly holds the defense in the most critical sectors in the east of the country. The vacancy involves service as the head of the current combat operations section of the command post at brigade headquarters.
Responsibilities:
- ensuring the combat readiness of the squad and the professional level of personnel
- performing tactical calculations, assessing the situation, preparing proposals for decision-making
- maintaining the commander's working map, reflecting the current state of combat operations
- developing combat orders, directives, and the command post's work schedules
- preparing the command post for exercises, training, and combat planning
- organizing the work of officers in duty shifts
- providing assistance to subordinate military units
- maintaining confidentiality
Requirements:
- age from 25
- higher education: military or field-relevant, knowledge of tactical planning
- officer's rank
- experience in combat command and operations planning (required experience in positions such as chief of staff, deputy chief of staff, head or officer of the operations section)
- responsibility, attentiveness, analytical thinking, leadership and organizational abilities
- knowledge of the procedure for planning combat operations and subordinate management skills — a significant advantage
Conditions:
- mobilization until the end of martial law or contract service
- service in the city of Kyiv
- service as part of the brigade's command post
- monetary allowance in accordance with current legislation
