Engineer Road Platoon Commander

Overview

The 72nd Separate Mechanized Brigade named after the Black Zaporozhians is a military formation of the mechanized forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. Since 2014, the brigade has taken part in the war in eastern Ukraine as part of the ATO/JFO forces. At the start of the full-scale invasion, the brigade defended Kyiv. The soldiers of the 72nd Separate Mechanized Brigade took part in the battles for Irpin, Moshchun, Hostomel, and Bucha. Since the summer of 2022, the brigade has been defending Ukraine in the Donbas. The vacancy involves service in the brigade's engineering support group, which has been holding the defense in the Vuhledar sector for more than a year.

Responsibilities:

• maintaining the proper technical condition of the platoon's assigned weapons and military equipment
• carrying out assigned tasks in accordance with job duties
• commanding the platoon's personnel and engineering equipment
• managing and coordinating the platoon's activities in accordance with established protocols and strategies
• organizing and conducting training and drills to improve the platoon's combat readiness
• ensuring discipline and order in accordance with established norms and rules
• performing other tasks that may be determined by command

Requirements:

• possession of an officer's rank
• leadership qualities
• ability to command personnel
• physical endurance
• the ability to substitute for any serviceman of one's platoon if necessary
• desire to bring victory closer together with us
• knowledge of engineering equipment

Conditions:

• mobilization until the end of martial law or contract service
• service in the active combat zone
• monetary allowance from 20,000 to 190,000 hryvnias based on task performance and combat orders on the front line
