External Pilot/UAV Operator

Overview

The 1st Assault Battalion of the 92nd Separate Assault Brigade named after Kish Otaman Ivan Sirko has been effectively destroying the occupiers since 2014. The unit took part in heavy fighting for Ilovaisk, Shchastia, and Krasnohorivka. In 2022, the battalion's service members defended Kharkiv and earned legendary status in the Kharkiv counteroffensive. The unit continues to live up to that reputation today in battles in northern Sloboda Ukraine.

Responsibilities:

• preparing UAVs for flights, checking equipment before launch
• controlling UAVs during reconnaissance and monitoring missions
• collecting and transmitting intelligence information to the command post
• analyzing data from UAV cameras and sensors, providing operational reports
• ensuring flight safety and compliance with all protocols
• performing maintenance and minor repairs of UAV equipment
• carrying out combat missions to destroy the enemy using modern FPV drones

Requirements:

• age from 18
• fitness for military service by state of health
• attentiveness, responsibility, and ability to make quick decisions, developed spatial thinking
• physical endurance and readiness to work in field conditions
• ability to work in a team and take responsibility for the outcome
• desire for self-improvement, flexible thinking, and seeking new approaches
• a desire to understand the technical aspects of drone operation
• responsible attitude toward safety measures
• desire to be part of a dedicated team
• possession of certificates or completion of specialized UAV operation courses will be an advantage

Conditions:

• mobilization until the end of martial law or contract service
• possibility of transferring current servicemen with the commander's consent
