Driver-Mechanic, Medical Station (MT-LB)

Overview

The 109th Separate Mountain Assault Battalion of the 10th Separate Mountain Assault Brigade "Edelweiss" is constantly working to raise the qualifications and professional level of its service members and is introducing modern technologies. The unit has gained invaluable combat experience, taking an active part in difficult operations in eastern Ukraine. Its service members have shown a high level of professionalism, courage, and dedication that has enabled them to successfully carry out their assigned missions. Over the years of service, the battalion's fighters have received numerous state awards and distinctions for the courage and heroism they displayed in carrying out combat missions. They have repeatedly been recognized at the state level for their contribution to defending the country.

Responsibilities:

• regularly inspecting, maintaining, and promptly repairing and troubleshooting the MT-LB
• maintaining the vehicle's combat readiness: ensuring it is fully ready to perform tasks at any moment
• cooperating with medical personnel: coordinating actions with medics, ensuring safe loading and unloading of the wounded

Requirements:

• driver's license category C, experience driving oversized vehicles
• knowledge of the design and operating principles of the MT-LB, its main systems and assemblies
• pre-medical first-aid skills
• ability to work in extreme conditions
• high level of responsibility, stress resilience, readiness to perform tasks in difficult conditions
• a strong desire to help people, save lives, and a high level of patriotism
• experience working with the MT-LB or other armored vehicles is desired

Conditions:

• direct mobilization into the military unit without involvement of the TCC until the end of martial law or contract service
