Machine Gun Gunner
Overview
The 28th Separate Mechanized Brigade named after the Knights of the Winter Campaign has been defending Ukraine since the very start of the russian aggression. In 2014, units of the brigade advanced into Donetsk region to cover the state border.
From the first day of the full-scale invasion, the brigade defended Odesa and part of Mykolaiv region. From August 2022, the brigade played a key role in the offensive operation to liberate Kherson and was among the first to enter the city. Since early December 2022 and to this day, the brigade has been carrying out combat missions in the Bakhmut sector, destroying russian army personnel and equipment.
Responsibilities:
- ensuring the combat destruction of the enemy
- preparing the machine gun for firing, setting up sighting equipment, and adjusting firing parameters
- keeping the machine gun in serviceable condition
- conscientious execution of commanders' orders
- compliance with safety requirements during shooting and other military activities
- carrying out combat missions as part of the unit in the combat zone and in the rear
Requirements:
- fitness for military service by state of health
- no criminal record
- responsibility and discipline
- willingness to constantly learn and improve weapons-handling skills
- understanding of the operating principles and operation of the machine gun
- good physical strength and endurance will be an advantage
- having combat experience or experience serving in the Defense Forces will be an advantage
Conditions:
- mobilization until the end of martial law or contract service
- possibility of transferring current servicemen

- monetary allowance from 20,000 to 190,000 hryvnias depending on tasks and place of service
- guaranteed annual wellness payment equal to one month's monetary allowance
