Overview

The 157th Separate Mechanized Brigade is a formation of the Ground Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, formed in 2024. The unit offers the opportunity to maintain and provide communications with responsibility and professionalism. Responsibilities:

  • organizing and maintaining uninterrupted radio communications between units and command
  • ensuring fast and accurate transmission of all commands, orders, and important information
  • regularly inspecting and maintaining radios and communication equipment
  • installing appropriate software, configuring, and maintaining military communication equipment in the combat unit

Requirements:

  • specialized technical education in radio communications/network technologies/computer technologies
  • understanding of data transmission network technologies
  • experience configuring/flashing digital communication equipment (radios, satellite transmitters, digital network equipment)
  • experience repairing microelectronics preferred
  • readiness to perform tasks in the combat zone
  • experience working with military communication equipment and prior military service will be an advantage
  • no harmful habits
  • ability to learn and improve one's skills
  • adequate physical fitness

Conditions:

  • mobilization until the end of martial law or contract service
  • possibility of transferring current servicemen
  • mandatory completion of basic combined-arms training before starting to perform official duties (30-40 days)
  • monetary allowance from 20,000 hryvnias + bonus depending on prior length of service, assigned tasks, and place of service
  • the opportunity to realize your leadership qualities, participation in relevant military training, career growth
  • gear and equipment provision, including personal protective equipment, accommodation, meals, and medical care for the duration of service
  • official annual leave, leave for family circumstances, assistance obtaining Combat Veteran status if you take part in combat, and other social guarantees under current legislation of Ukraine
