Radio Operator

Overview

The 28th Separate Mechanized Brigade named after the Knights of the Winter Campaign has been defending Ukraine since the very start of the russian aggression. In 2014, units of the brigade advanced into Donetsk region to cover the state border.
From the first day of the full-scale invasion, the brigade defended Odesa and part of Mykolaiv region. From August 2022, the brigade played a key role in the offensive operation to liberate Kherson and was among the first to enter the city. Since early December 2022 and to this day, the brigade has been carrying out combat missions in the Bakhmut sector, destroying russian army personnel and equipment.

Responsibilities:

• ensuring uninterrupted radio communication between units
• quickly receiving and transmitting large volumes of information and messages using radiotelephone equipment while maintaining radio camouflage
• responsibility for the proper operation and storage of assigned equipment
• experience working with military communication equipment will be an advantage

Requirements:

• no criminal record
• responsibility and discipline
• willingness to constantly learn and improve skills
• experience working with military communication equipment will be an advantage
• good physical strength and endurance will be an advantage
• having combat experience or experience serving in the Defense Forces will be an advantage

Conditions:

• mobilization until the end of martial law or contract service
• possibility of service for candidates who, per the Military Medical Commission's findings, are fit for service in support units
• possibility of transferring current servicemen
• monetary allowance from 20,000 to 50,000 hryvnias depending on tasks and place of service
