Combat Medic
Overview
Since the start of the full-scale russian invasion, the 97th Separate Mechanized Battalion of the 60th Separate Mechanized Brigade has taken part in combat on the Zaporizhzhia, Kherson, and Donetsk axes. The unit continues to carry out combat tasks in the hottest sections of the front.
Responsibilities:
- providing first aid in combat conditions and evacuating the wounded
- performing stabilization measures (stopping bleeding, supporting breathing, cardiopulmonary resuscitation)
- preparing to transport the wounded to medical facilities
- monitoring the condition of medical equipment and medications in the unit
- planning and conducting tactical medicine classes
Requirements:
- medical education (specialized secondary or higher; preference given to Nurse or Paramedic specialization)
- skills in tactical medicine, knowledge of TCCC (Tactical Combat Casualty Care) protocols
- resilience to stress, physical endurance, ability to make quick decisions
- readiness to work in the zone of active combat operations
- willingness to constantly learn and develop
- military service experience will be an advantage
Conditions:
- mobilization until the end of martial law or contract service
- possibility of transferring current servicemen
- monetary allowance from 20,000 to 190,000 hryvnias depending on the assigned task and place of service
- continuous training and drills to improve combat skills
- provision of necessary equipment and gear
- guaranteed annual main leave of 30 days
- free treatment and financial compensation for injuries sustained in combat
