Overview

The 28th Separate Mechanized Brigade named after the Knights of the Winter Campaign has been defending Ukraine since the very start of the russian aggression. In 2014, units of the brigade advanced into Donetsk region to cover the state border.
From the first day of the full-scale invasion, the brigade defended Odesa and part of Mykolaiv region. From August 2022, the brigade played a key role in the offensive operation to liberate Kherson and was among the first to enter the city. Since early December 2022 and to this day, the brigade has been carrying out combat missions in the Bakhmut sector, destroying russian army personnel and equipment.

Responsibilities:

• organizing the technically correct operation of the company's weapons, combat, and other equipment
• taking measures to keep weapons in good working order
• conducting classes with the company's personnel on technical training, the basics and rules of vehicle driving, ensuring proper training of technical specialists
• organizing the maintenance of weapons, combat, and other equipment

Requirements:

• no criminal record
• fitness for military service by state of health and moral-psychological qualities
• education no lower than secondary or vocational secondary
• willingness to learn
• experience repairing equipment will be an advantage

Conditions:

• mobilization until the end of martial law or contract service
• possibility of transferring current servicemen with the direct commander's consent

• monetary allowance from 20,000 to 190,000 hryvnias depending on tasks and place of service
• guaranteed annual wellness payment equal to one month's monetary allowance
• guaranteed annual leave of up to 30 calendar days + additional leave of up to 10 days for family circumstances
