Platoon Combat Medic
Overview
The 28th Separate Mechanized Brigade named after the Knights of the Winter Campaign has been defending Ukraine since the very start of the russian aggression. In 2014, units of the brigade advanced into Donetsk region to cover the state border.
From the first day of the full-scale invasion, the brigade defended Odesa and part of Mykolaiv region. From August 2022, the brigade played a key role in the offensive operation to liberate Kherson and was among the first to enter the city. Since early December 2022 and to this day, the brigade has been carrying out combat missions in the Bakhmut sector, destroying russian army personnel and equipment.
Responsibilities:
- monitoring the unit's servicemen's health
- providing emergency medical aid
- participating in the evacuation of casualties from the line of combat contact
- monitoring the condition of the wounded until arrival at medical facilities
- working with first-aid kits and medical materials/equipment
- training personnel in methods of providing pre-medical aid
- maintaining the unit's general medical documentation
- implementing measures to prevent the occurrence and spread of illness or injury in the unit
- carrying out combat missions as part of the unit
- compliance with military discipline and commanders' requirements
Requirements:
- fitness for service by state of health and moral-psychological qualities
- good physical shape and endurance
- ability to quickly assess the situation and make decisions
- readiness to perform combat missions, including in the combat area
- ability to quickly resolve assigned tasks
- knowledge of statutes and weaponry
- abstinence from alcohol and psychotropic substances
- medical education or experience will be an advantage
- experience working in extreme conditions will be an advantage
Conditions:
- mobilization until the end of martial law or contract service
- possibility of transferring current servicemen with the direct commander's consent

- monetary allowance from 20,000 to 190,000 hryvnias depending on tasks and place of service
- guaranteed annual wellness payment equal to one month's monetary allowance
