Overview

The 28th Separate Mechanized Brigade named after the Knights of the Winter Campaign has been defending Ukraine since the very start of the russian aggression. In 2014, units of the brigade advanced into Donetsk region to cover the state border.
From the first day of the full-scale invasion, the brigade defended Odesa and part of Mykolaiv region. From August 2022, the brigade played a key role in the offensive operation to liberate Kherson and was among the first to enter the city. Since early December 2022 and to this day, the brigade has been carrying out combat missions in the Bakhmut sector, destroying russian army personnel and equipment.

Responsibilities:

• carrying out materiel and technical support measures
• maintaining accounting of military property
• providing personnel with all necessary materiel
• timely receipt and inspection of weapons, ammunition, equipment, and other materiel
• organizing the replenishment of material assets
• carrying out fire safety measures
• conducting briefings on labor safety, fire safety, and other areas

Requirements:

• fitness for military service by state of health
• no criminal record
• education no lower than secondary or vocational secondary
• responsibility, organization, sociability
• knowledge of legislation and requirements for the safekeeping of material assets
• ability to work with a computer and proficiency in office programs
• ability to work in a team and communicate effectively

Conditions:

• mobilization until the end of martial law or contract service
• possibility of transferring current servicemen with the direct commander's consent
• full materiel provision
• monetary allowance from 20,000 to 190,000 hryvnias depending on tasks and place of service
• guaranteed annual wellness payment equal to one month's monetary allowance
• guaranteed annual leave of up to 30 calendar days + additional leave of up to 10 days for family circumstances
