Flamethrower Operator

Overview

The 28th Separate Mechanized Brigade named after the Knights of the Winter Campaign has been defending Ukraine since the very start of the russian aggression. In 2014, units of the brigade advanced into Donetsk region to cover the state border.
From the first day of the full-scale invasion, the brigade defended Odesa and part of Mykolaiv region. From August 2022, the brigade played a key role in the offensive operation to liberate Kherson and was among the first to enter the city. Since early December 2022 and to this day, the brigade has been carrying out combat missions in the Bakhmut sector, destroying russian army personnel and equipment.

Responsibilities:

• providing fire support to battalion fighters when necessary
• effective and safe use of the flamethrower in accordance with tactical objectives
• keeping weapons and ammunition combat-ready
• compliance with the laws of Ukraine and maintaining military discipline
• compliance with safety rules when working with weapons and explosive materials

Requirements:

• fitness for military service by state of health
• no criminal record
• responsibility and discipline
• good physical fitness
• enthusiasm for learning and improving one's professional level
• readiness to serve in the combat zone
• having combat experience or experience serving in the Defense Forces will be an advantage

Conditions:

• mobilization until the end of martial law or contract service
• possibility of transferring current servicemen with the direct commander's consent
• full materiel provision
• monetary allowance from 20,000 to 190,000 hryvnias depending on tasks and place of service
• guaranteed annual wellness payment equal to one month's monetary allowance
• guaranteed annual leave of up to 30 calendar days + additional leave of up to 10 days for family circumstances
