Sergeant Major, Reconnaissance Platoon
Overview
The 58th Separate Motorized Infantry Brigade named after Hetman Ivan Vyhovsky was formed during the war to defend the Ukrainian people. The unit's combat path has included the defense of towns and villages in the Donetsk and Luhansk regions, and from February 24, 2022, the "Vyhovsky men" crushed the aggressor on the approaches from Chernihiv to Bobrovytsia, and later in the Bakhmut sector, in the Chernihiv region, and in the area of Kupiansk and Lyman. Since September 2023, the brigade has been conducting combat operations in the Donetsk region. The 58th Separate Motorized Infantry Brigade continues the glorious traditions of Hetman Vyhovsky, who crushed the Muscovites back in the 17th century near Konotop, because it believes that defending our beloved Ukraine and its people is the duty of every conscious citizen. Everyone is capable of making a significant contribution to the defense of the state and capable of great feats.
Responsibilities:
- maintaining military discipline within the platoon
- commanding a unit at the squad level
- combat and special training of personnel
- keeping the unit's weapons in constant combat readiness
- conducting classes and training with personnel, as well as unit combat coordination activities
- knowledge of the platoon's tasks, the platoon commander's decisions, and the procedure for their execution
- monitoring platoon personnel's execution of the platoon commander's orders and other instructions
- keeping the unit's moral and psychological state at a high level
Requirements:
- age from 18
- basic secondary education
- readiness to work in the zone of active combat operations
- fitness for military service
- ability to learn quickly and adapt to various conditions
Conditions:
- mobilization until the end of martial law or contract service
- provision of gear
- guaranteed annual main leave
- free medical care
- monetary allowance from 25,000 to 125,000 hryvnias depending on the assigned task and place of service
