Rifleman (English-speaking)

Overview

The 422nd Separate Rifle Battalion is part of the 42nd Separate Mechanized Brigade. The unit was formed in 2023 in the Ternopil region and took part in combat in the Donetsk and Luhansk regions. The battalion is looking for conscientious, motivated citizens who are ready to learn, grow, and work together to liberate Ukraine's territories from the Russian occupiers.

Responsibilities:

• carrying out combat missions as part of the unit
• continuous maintenance of weapons and ammunition in combat readiness
• destroying detected targets
• carrying out measures to ensure the territorial integrity and sovereignty of Ukraine

Requirements:

• knowledge of English at B1 level (knowledge of other languages will be an advantage)
• a high level of motivation and desire to learn
• age from 18
• good physical fitness
• complete abstinence from alcohol and drugs during service
• readiness to work in the zone of active combat operations as part of a unit made up of foreign specialists
• fitness for military service by state of health and moral-psychological qualities
• combat experience, knowledge of other languages, and completion of a basic military training course will be an advantage

Conditions:

• mobilization until the end of martial law or contract service
• full support from recruitment through joining the unit and taking up the position
• service in the active combat zone
• service in a unit with foreign specialists
• provision of uniforms and personal protective equipment
• provision of full meals
• the prospect of career growth, development of leadership skills and foreign language knowledge
• guaranteed annual main leave + additional 10-day leave for family circumstances
• monetary allowance from 20,000 to 120,000 hryvnias depending on the zone of task performance and combat orders + additional monetary allowance for 30 days spent on the line of combat contact
• free treatment and financial compensation for injuries sustained in combat
• social protection and guaranteed life insurance in accordance with current legislation
