Mortar Commander

Overview

The 157th Separate Mechanized Brigade is a formation of the Ground Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, formed in 2024. The unit is building a healthy team, and you can become part of it! The unit's command focuses its efforts on preparing personnel to carry out combat missions, continuously improving skills and abilities, and using innovative approaches to assess personnel training.

Responsibilities:

• commanding the mortar crew and its combat employment
• monitoring ammunition use and conducting scheduled maintenance
• combat work together with the battery officer: carrying out their orders, instructions, and directives
• fostering communication within the team
• continuous improvement of professional skills and knowledge

Requirements:

• ability to make management decisions
• ability to maintain the chain of command when communicating with superiors
• ability to perform duties and tasks on time

Conditions:

• mobilization until the end of martial law or contract service
• possibility of transferring current servicemen with the direct commander's consent
• provision of all benefits guaranteed to servicemen by the legislation of Ukraine
• monetary allowance from 21,000 hryvnias depending on the assigned task and region of work
• service in the combat zone
