Master EOD Technician, UAV/Sapper

Overview

The 155th Separate Mechanized Brigade named after Anna of Kyiv is a modern unit of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, formed to defend the territorial integrity of our state. This vacancy is for service in the "MANTICORA" unmanned systems battalion of the 155th Brigade. The battalion's main task is to conduct reconnaissance and combat operations using UAVs. The unit was created in response to the growing need for the effective use of modern technology in military operations. By using advanced unmanned systems, the unit has significantly enhanced the brigade's capabilities in conducting reconnaissance operations and providing aerial support.

Responsibilities:

• providing engineering and sapper support for strike UAV missions
• maintaining the warheads of strike UAVs
• performing work related to engineering munitions and disposal of explosive ordnance

Requirements:

• understanding of the basic principles of circuit design
• experience maintaining and repairing electronics
• knowledge of ammunition nomenclature
• fitness for military service by state of health and moral-psychological qualities
• complete secondary education (priority given to candidates with vocational-technical or higher education)
• no criminal record, drug or alcohol dependencies
• ability to read electrical schematics will be an advantage
• English proficiency sufficient for understanding technical documentation will be an advantage

Conditions:

• direct mobilization into the military unit until the end of martial law or contract service
• monetary allowance from 20,000 to 120,000 hryvnias depending on tasks and place of service
• civilian candidates are required to complete basic combined-arms training (firearms, tactical, engineering, and psychological training, tactical medicine, etc.)
• guaranteed placement in the chosen position
