UAV Operator
Overview
The 28th Separate Mechanized Brigade named after the Knights of the Winter Campaign has been defending Ukraine since the very start of the russian aggression. In 2014, units of the brigade advanced into Donetsk region to cover the state border.
From the first day of the full-scale invasion, the brigade defended Odesa and part of Mykolaiv region. From August 2022, the brigade played a key role in the offensive operation to liberate Kherson and was among the first to enter the city. Since early December 2022 and to this day, the brigade has been carrying out combat missions in the Bakhmut sector, destroying russian army personnel and equipment.
Responsibilities:
- piloting UAVs within military operations and tasks
- carrying out reconnaissance, surveillance, and other types of tasks using special equipment and software (training is provided)
- collecting, analyzing, and transmitting relevant information obtained from UAVs to the command staff
- ensuring the safety and proper operation of the UAV during flights
- performing other tasks related to UAV piloting, in accordance with command requirements
Requirements:
- desire to serve in the military and be part of a military team
- fitness for military service by state of health and moral-psychological qualities
- ability to work with computers, applications, and electronic devices
- motivation, desire to learn and improve skills
- ability to work in conditions of military operations and stressful situations
- sociability and ability to work collectively
- ability to work with special devices and software
- readiness to perform tasks in the area where combat operations are conducted
- gaming experience (esports, console gaming, etc.)
Conditions:
- mobilization until the end of martial law or contract service
- possible performance of duties in the combat operations zone
- guaranteed monthly monetary allowance from 20,000 to 120,000 hryvnias depending on the complexity and location of tasks
- guaranteed annual wellness payment equal to one month's monetary allowance
