Overview

The 131st Separate Reconnaissance Battalion named after Colonel Yevhen Konovalets is a tactical-level military unit within the "South" Operational Command of the Ground Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. The battalion was established in 2015 to conduct reconnaissance and support combat operations within its designated area of responsibility. It currently carries out measures to ensure national security and defense and to repel and contain the armed aggression of the russian federation in eastern Ukraine.

Responsibilities:

• commanding a communications platoon to ensure effective communication and information transmission
• organizing and monitoring the operation of the communications unit during military operations
• ensuring the uninterrupted operation of communication equipment and its technical support
• planning and coordinating communications actions with other military units

Requirements:

• possession of an officer's rank
• knowledge of modern communications equipment and its use
• ability to work under stress and high pressure
• military or military-technical education
• experience in a similar position will be an advantage

Conditions:

• mobilization until the end of martial law or contract service
• possibility of transferring current servicemen
• service in combat operations areas
• monetary allowance of 25,000 hryvnias guaranteed + additional reward of up to 100,000 hryvnias depending on the assigned task and place of service
• guaranteed leave of up to 30 calendar days per year (under martial law) + 10 additional days in case of family circumstances
• guaranteed social and legal protection for servicemen and their families
