Tank Commander
Overview
The tank battalion of the 63rd Separate Mechanized Brigade was formed at the end of 2022. Since March 2023, the battalion has successfully repelled enemy attacks on the Lyman axis. Hundreds of destroyed occupiers and continuous fire support for the brigade's units on the line of contact — this is the daily selfless work of the tank battalion's soldiers.
Responsibilities:
- carrying out combat missions as part of the unit in the combat zone
- compliance with military discipline
- commanding a tank crew (organizing the crew's work, coordinating actions during combat operations)
- monitoring the technical condition of the tank (checking the engine, running gear, weapons, navigation systems)
- maintaining constant combat readiness under intense combat conditions
- improving professional skills
- orientation on terrain
Requirements:
- fitness for service by state of health and moral qualities
- age from 23
- motivation to destroy the enemy
- leadership skills, responsibility, discipline, psychological resilience
- stress resilience and ability to make quick decisions under pressure
- desire to learn
- candidates without combat experience are considered
- experience serving as a tank commander (compulsory service, service during the ATO/JFO) will be an advantage
- experience managing people will be an advantage
