Unmanned Systems Maintenance and Repair Platoon Commander

Overview

The 422nd Separate Rifle Battalion is part of the 42nd Separate Mechanized Brigade. The unit was formed in 2023 in the Ternopil region and took part in combat in the Donetsk and Luhansk regions. The battalion is looking for conscientious, motivated citizens who are ready to learn, grow, and work together to liberate Ukraine's territories from the Russian occupiers.

Responsibilities:

• organizing tasks for assembling, repairing, and maintaining FPV drones
• maintaining platoon documentation
• analyzing problems and finding solutions to resolve them

Requirements:

• a high level of motivation and desire to develop
• NCO military rank
• ability to work in a team and organize processes
• skills in repairing electronic equipment
• computer literacy at a confident user level
• complete abstinence from alcoholic beverages and drugs during service
• readiness to work in the zone of active combat operations
• fitness for military service by state of health and moral-psychological qualities
• an engineering or technical education will be an advantage
• knowledge of foreign languages will be an advantage

Conditions:

• mobilization until the end of martial law or contract service
• full support from recruitment through joining the unit and taking up the position
• service in Kharkiv Oblast
• provision of uniforms and personal protective equipment
• provision of full meals
• the prospect of career growth, development of leadership skills and foreign language knowledge
• guaranteed annual main leave and additional 10-day leave for family circumstances
• monetary allowance from 20,000 to 55,000 hryvnias depending on the zone of task performance and combat orders
• provision of medical care and life insurance in accordance with current legislation
